SBM School was founded by Shri R. C. Mishra in memory of his beloved father, Late Shri Shiv Baran Mishra and his mother. Shri S. B. Mishra was a dedicated schoolteacher and a renowned Ayurvedic physician who passionately worked to spread education to underprivileged children.
Inspired by his father’s vision, Shri R.C. Mishra established SBM School to carry forward this noble mission. The school was created with the goal of providing quality education to children from all walks of life, particularly those from marginalized communities.
Under the guidance of Shri R. C. Mishra, SBM School has grown into a respected institution that not only focuses on academic excellence but also fosters character development and social responsibility in students. To the front of the school, there is a sprawling park, a tranquil space where students can play, relax, and engage in recreational activities. On the left side of the school, a canal runs gently, adding to the natural beauty of the surroundings. The presence of the canal serves not only as a picturesque feature of our campus but also as a reminder of the importance of water conservation and environmental responsibility. The canal provides a peaceful and calming atmosphere, allowing students to experience the beauty of nature while encouraging them to respect the natural resources around them.
In line with our commitment to sustainability, we have planted several eco-friendly trees both inside and around the school. These trees not only contribute to the aesthetic appeal of the school grounds but also play an essential role in reducing carbon footprints and promoting a healthy, green environment for our students. Serving the Underprivileged Community
SBM Public School is situated in a region where many families face significant economic hardships. The school primarily serves children from economically weaker sections of society, with nearly 80% of our student body hailing from SC/ST communities. These children often come from families that struggle to make ends meet and where the pursuit of education is not always prioritized. It is for these children that SBM Public School exists — to provide them with the opportunity to escape the cycle of poverty and to equip them with the tools they need to lead successful, fulfilling lives.
In this context, we have made it our mission to keep education affordable for all. Despite the challenges we face, particularly with financial constraints, we have not raised the fees of our students. This decision stems from our commitment to making education accessible to all, regardless of their ability to pay. We believe that every child, no matter their background, deserves the chance to receive quality education, and we are determined to ensure that our school remains a beacon of hope for the underprivileged children of Amrai Gaon and beyond.
Modern Facilities and Resources
While financial limitations have posed challenges, we have worked hard to ensure that our students receive a top-quality education. We have equipped the school with modern resources and facilities that support both academic and extracurricular development. Our computer lab, e-classrooms, and STEM labs provide students with access to cutting-edge technology that enhances their learning experience. Additionally, our solar panels ensure that the school remains energy-efficient and environmentally friendly.
The introduction of smart classrooms , e-learning , modern computer lab and an e-library has allowed our students to engage in interactive learning and access vast resources that were once unavailable to them. These resources play a pivotal role in enhancing the learning experience and ensuring that our students are well-prepared for the challenges of the modern world.
Despite these advances, there is still much work to be done. To maintain and further improve our facilities and offerings, we require additional financial support. This will help us enhance our infrastructure, expand our curriculum, and offer even more opportunities for our students to thrive. We are actively seeking partnerships, sponsorships, and donations that will enable us to take our mission forward.
Introduction of AI from Class 9: AI is introduced from Class 9, and students are equipped with e-learning tools to stay updated with the latest technologies.
Remedial Classes for Weaker Students: To support students who may require additional help, remedial classes are regularly conducted, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to succeed.
NCERT Curriculum: The school follows the NCERT pattern from Class 11 to Class 12, which helps students prepare effectively for government exams
Focus on English and General Knowledge: English and General Knowledge (GK) are crucial for success in government exams, and the school places strong emphasis on these subjects
Easier Preparation for Competitive Exams: With the NCERT syllabus and a strong foundation in core subjects, students have a better chance of clearing competitive exams
